Overview
The Vulnerability Database contains the latest vulnerability intelligence, CVE information, security advisories, and remediation metadata used by SecOps Solution during vulnerability assessments.
Keeping the Vulnerability Database up to date ensures that scans are performed against the latest available security information.
Update the Vulnerability Database
Step 1: Log in to the Platform
Open the SecOps web console:
Log in using an administrator account.
Step 2: Open Settings
Click the Profile icon in the upper-right corner and select Settings.
Step 3: Navigate to Vulnerability Database
From the left navigation menu:
Step 4: Start the Database Update
Click Update Now to begin downloading the latest vulnerability intelligence.
Step 5: Monitor Update Progress
Once the update starts, the platform will display the current update status and progress percentage.
The update duration may vary depending on database size and network connectivity.
Step 6: Verify Update Completion
After the update completes, verify that:
- The Status shows Updated
- The Last Updated field reflects the latest update timestamp
