Vulnerability Scanning

This guide explains how to configure and run vulnerability scans on the SaaS Platform, including manual scans and scheduled scans via policies.

1. Navigate to the Vulnerability Scanning section.

2. Click Start Scan to begin an immediate scan.

3. In the Device Targeting section, select assets by server, endpoint, or asset group. Optionally filter by OS or Asset Security Rating (ASR).

4. Configure the scan profile (Authenticated Scan or Unauthenticated Scan).

5. Set port scan type to Common or Custom.

   • If Custom is selected, enter specific ports or port ranges (e.g., 22, 24, (1-65535)).

6. Click Start Scan to launch the scan instantly.

7. Monitor scan progress in Scan Jobs tab.

1. Navigate to the Scan Policy tab.

2. Click Create Policy.

3. Enter Policy Details: name, description (optional), and status (Active/Inactive).

4. Define scan scope under Device Targeting.

5. Choose scan profile and configure port scan type and custom port range as needed.

6. Under Schedule, set:

   • Start date/time

   • Repeat frequency (Do not repeat, daily, weekly, monthly)

7. Preview and save the schedule.

8. Scheduled scans run automatically as per configured times.

9. View scheduled scan jobs and results in Scan Jobs tab.
