Linux Agent

Check Agent Status
  1. Verify the current status of the agent
    sudo systemctl status secops_service.service

  2. Alternatively, check the agent status from the dashboard.

  3. You can initiate a new health check using the "Test Connectivity" button in the actions column.
Restart Agent Service
  1. To restart the Linux agent, run the below command
    sudo systemctl restart secops_service.service

Windows Agent
Check Agent Status
  1. Verify the agent status from the dashboard.

  2. Initiate a new health check using the "Test Connectivity" button in the actions column.

  3. Alternatively, you can verify from your Windows host. Check if the secops_server process is running in the Windows Task Manager.
Restart Agent Service
  1. Open Windows Services, locate "SecopsService," and click on restart.
Common Issues and Resolutions
  1. No IP Address:

    • Ensure the network adapter is correctly configured.
    • Verify that the DHCP server is running.
  2. Connectivity Issues:
    • Check firewall settings to ensure no network policies are blocking the VM.

  3. Performance Issues:

    • Allocate sufficient resources (CPU, RAM) to the VM.

Service Restart

If the SecOps service fails to respond, perform the following steps:

  1. In the SecOps Central Machine, click on the SecOps Solution App from left side menu or navigate to 'http://localhost:49430' in the browser.

  2. Click on 'Need any help?'

  3. Click “Service Restart” and press 'Yes, I want to restart the services'. This will restart the SecOps On-Prem setup services.
